Policy Scheduling Problem

This morning, I went to go adjust the time on my backup rotation job. After making the time change, the date for the next time it is going to kick off the FULL backup (which is the one I adjusted), is a week from today, instead of today. I played with adjusted the effectie date, but it still will not adjust to be for tonight, only a week from now.

My monthly backup is also doing weird things as it has nothing set to work this month, but the end of next month.

Seems the policy scheduling is freaking out.

In view of the query put forward, we would like you to refer the following technote

10.0.5484 Hotfix 7 - Backup Exec Policies (Modifying the backup method causes jobs to rerun; Importing templates within a policy will modify the schedule of all templates in that policy)

http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/275166.htm

Also, please apply hotfix 1 from the link mentioned below.

Title:- VERITAS Backup Exec (tm) 10.0 for Windows Servers revision 5484 - Service Pack 1

http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/275248.htm

We would suggest you please re-install remote agent component on all the remote machine once you install Service Pack 1.

We hope this helps.

Both of these were installed on the box when it was built new about a month ago.

Should they be re-installed? (well, Hotfix 7 anyway).

I ended up deleting the policies then recreating them. The schedulding then reset itself.
