Policy pane under "Job Setup" tab disappeared

Hey Forum,

 

I have a licensed copy of BackupExec 12.5 for Win server.

 

When I go to the “Job Setup” tab...there used to be a pane for “Backup Jobs”, “Policies” and <something else I forget>...three panes total.  However, now when I start the software...all three panes are there for about 5 seconds, and then the “Backup Jobs” pane expands down vertically to take up the entire screen and the “Policy” and <other> pane both disappear.

 

The problem is, I can edit an existing policy by right clicking on a job associated with the policy...but I can’t create a new policy.

 

I can’t find any setting in options, preferences, or view to change this.

 

What is happening here?
