Problem with Exch 2003 GRT backup - BE 11d

Hi Everyone
We use BE for long time.
about 3 months ago the GRT backup stopped working.
there's no change that was made to server (SBS 2003) or to BE (11d).
If i'm not enable GRT the backup go's just fine to disk and to tape.
when I enable GRT for Exchange the backup failed always after 1:39 (M:S) with the error of:

V-79-57344-33928 - Access is denied.
Access denied to directory .
Access is denied to Remote Agent.  Check the login account for the specified device

I tried every article i found at Symantec and in google with no avail.
I also checked disabled users and disconnected mailboxes, and the permissions on the mailboxes.
I tried also to change the service account to account with full permissions on the forest....
AND i search here in the forum and found only problems with restore from GRT backup and I didn't even get this step.
any ideas?
thanks in advanced
sharon

Make sure the account which you are using have the following rights and permission
Exchange Full Administrator
Domain Admins/Explicit Local Admin
Has active mailbox
Has sent/received e-mail
Is Unique in AD (1st five character should not match with any other account )
Is not hidden in GAL

You can verify the account have proper rights By doing the following steps
go to Tools | Option |Ms exchange  check the box for enable legacy mailbox support
then got back to you backup selection and try expanding the MS mailboxes in the selection . If you are able to expand the mailboxes then the account have propert rights and permission .
Also you can try creating a new account and give all the rights and permission
