Quantum SuperLoader 3 Causes server crash after upgrade to BE 12

Hello,

We just upgraded to version 12 from 11d.  Now, whenever the SuperLoader is turned on and BE tries to access it the server blue screens. It then fails to load Windows upon restarting until we either disconnect the SuperLoader, or turn it off.  This drive worked fine until we upgraded to 12.   Here are the specs on the drive:
It is a Quantum SuperLoader 3 with one LTO 3 drive (Certance) and one 8 slot magazine.

As far as I can tell, this is the only error in the event log:

Any help would be appreciated, we cannot use this device until we get this fixed.

Thanks.

Are you using the Symantec driver? If so, try using the manufacturer driver.

Hi Spogers,

Our hardware gurus took a look at this thread and suggest that you might be running in to a known issue in the STORport drivers that shipped with Windows 2003.  This issue was resolved in Windows 2003 SP1.  What service pack level of Windows are you running?

Hi, sorry for not responding sooner!  Thanks for your reply!

We are running Windows Server 2003 R2, Service Pack 2, so no issue there.  Any other thoughts on how to correct this?

Thanks again!
