Receiving multiple email notifications for each backup job

For each backup job, I'm getting 5 e-mail notifications.

Tools --> Recipients, select a recipient and go to properties --> limit the number of notification sent --> check enable and made the the notify me 5 times to 1 time.

Still getting 5 e-mails...

Any solution ??

Have you configured this from the backup job properties or through global settings ?

As a test, check all the 3 options i.e., alert categories, selection list & backup job properties....ensure it is not enabled under all...disable it globally & enable it only once through the backup job & test

I removed the global settings but the issue still exist. The wiered part is, I recreated the notification and when I did a test by clicking test button on the recipient properties, it sends me 2 e-mails.

If a selection list is being used, have you ensured it is disabled under scheduled list notification ?

Does ONLY this user receive multiple emails or other users as well ? If other as well, you may consider a repair
