Remote agent install on NT4 servers

Hello

I've installed v9.1 on a windows 2000 server and now attempting to upgrade the remote agents (from v9.0) on all servers in the domain. I've had no problem installing on w2k servers using the remote installation wizard but it fails each time I attempt to push it out to the remaining NT4 servers in the domain.

Following previous advice I've tried mapping from an NT4 server to the backup server \program files\veritas\backupexec\nt\agents\rant32 and run setupaa.cmd. I'm now not sure if that has worked or not. The remote agent service is installed and running but is it v9.1 or still at v9.0 ?? How can I be sure ??

Thanks

Hello,

Follow the simple procedure mentioned in either of the technotes below. The version can be checked either from the media server or the remote server as follows:

Title : How to check the installed version of the Backup Exec Remote Agent
http://support.veritas.com/docs/239316

Title : How to check the version or status of the remote agent on remote servers from the Backup Exec user interface
