I am running the AgentConfig utility and I'm having difficulty configuring Oracle Database backup. The database is up and running. I try both SYS and SYSDBA and obtain the following results.

Entry 1. clsts
Enter the number 0 to go back
Enter your selection:1
Enter the Oracle database SYSDBA user name: SYS
Enter the Oracle database SYSDBA password:
Re-enter password:
Validating credentials.......
Failed to login.
Enter the Oracle database SYSDBA user name:
Enter the Oracle database SYSDBA user name: SYSDBA
Enter the Oracle database SYSDBA password:

This user account does not have the privileges that are required to log on to the Oracle database.
Do you want to continue with the configuration? (Y/N): y
NOTE: I know that the SYSDBA can login to the database using the password I supply to the AgentConfig utility.
Do you have a suggestion?
