Since upgrading to 2012 the performance when browsing resources to restore is extremely slow and mostly returns a Query Failed error.
Support have dialed in a few times now.
There was no problem with this in 2010, the server is a 16core 2.67GHz X5550 with 12GB ram.
The CPU is only showing 8% whilst browsing so don't think this is an issue with the performance of the server. Backup Exec seems to be doing something in the background.
There are quite a few folders partly down to historical folders that have accumulted over the years (approx. 43,000) but as mentioned this never caused an issue with 2010 R3.
Anyone got any ideas, the rest of the limitations/quirks I can deal with until they are sorted but the inability to restore data from a backup is real production hitting limitation.
