I am trying to restore a contact within an Exchange Public folder, but consistantly get the "0xe000fe2d - The backup of the item is bad" error regardless of the date of the backup I use. Normally I would write this off as corrupted information, but I'm not convinced that about 8 different backup jobs are all corrupted on this one contact.
Any thoughts on how to resolve this? I have included the error portions of the job log below.

What is the version of BE & exchange you have?

In case if you are running version 12.5 , i beleive there was some hotfix release for the same. Please run the live update and update the remote agent on the exchange server as well

Resolved in Backup Exec 12.5 for Windows Servers revision 2213 Hotfix 337202.
