I am attempting to do a restore of a directory on the local server. However, I receive the error the device could not be restored because an error occurred while connecting to Remote Agent for Windows Servers. I look and the Remote Agent has stopped, but when I started the restore it was running.

Please specify the error message that you receive.

Additionally you may try putting the remote agent in debug mode and verify where it is crashing. Refer the following technote to put the remote agent in debug mode.
