Ridicolous RALUS performance with AIX 5.3

Hi,
i experience a tragicomic issue backing up from my 11d-7170sp1 media server  an  AIX 5.3 host, through RALUS 7170 agent. Simply, job rate oscillates between 4.0MB/min and 5.0 MB/min!!!

If AutoNegotiate is enabled on your network by default, try hardsetting each NIC/Switchport along the pipe to the fastest setting they will support
