SNMP error

Since I installed BE10, we have a lot of backup servers that keep getting SNMP errors in event viewer. The event ID is 1102 and the error says: The SNMP Service is ignoring extension agent dll D:\Program files\Veritas\tapealrt.dll because it is missing or misconfigured. I already tried Veritas document ID 245141 but it doesnt fix the problem. And the missing file does exist in the folder. Any other suggestion? Thank you.

Perform the following to resolve the issue:
1. Perform repair of Backup Exec installation
http://support.veritas.com/docs/253199

2. Ensure that msvcp71.dll is present in C:\Windows\system32

3. Perform steps as per document 245141

4. Restart BE services

I only see msvcr71.dll file and msvcp70.dll. Are you sure that it is msvcp71.dll instead of msvcp70.dll?

I did repair several times and it doesnt work.

I would like to know if the Backup Exec v10.0 5484 installation was successful ?
You can refer to the installation log file which is Bkupinst.log which is in WINNT folder.

Also, you can try to upgrade version of Backup Exec from version 10.0 5484 to the latest version 10.0 5520.
