SP3 upgrade requirements?

The article (http://support.veritas.com/docs/287295) says that it can be applied on "Backup Exec 10.1 (10d) for Windows Servers revision 5629 or 10.1 (10d) SP2". So does that mean that we can install SP3 on a BE 10d SP1? Does it matter which (if any) service pack we have installed on our BE server?

Service Packs are cumulative, so SP3 can be applied to a system with

No SP
SP1
SP2

When I do a Veritas Update I receive the following..


Installed -- be5629RSP3_287295
Available -- be5629RSP2_285482

So just to re-confirm - I'm good and Up to date - correct?

if SP3 is installed why does it list SP2 as available? Not too intuitive, eh?

Seeing the exact same thing. Additionally, I am having some major problems where BE media, job engine and server service are failing when the bckup job starts.
