We have had to install SQL 2005 Server as one of our software suppliers are converting there database to SQL. Since this installation our installation of Veritas (9.1) has problems. I can no longer get all of the services running as there are problems with dependancies. Also there are entries in the Application Log showing database errors in Veritas. Therefore backups are not working.
One problem we had when installing SQL is that it didn't work first time, therefore we had to do an uninstall and then a reinstall.
To complicate things further when our server was supplied (in 2004) it appears that the company who did the installation didn't supply us with the program CD's so a reinstall is impossible.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
