SQL 2005 instance on a MSCS cluster not showing up under network name.

in the selection list I can find the SQL 2005 instance listed under both the active and passive nodes themselves, but it's not listed under it's network name. The disk resource is listed, but that's it.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the remote agents on both nodes. But no luck.

Note that this is a migration from BE 9.2 -- new server, new version, copied over the config according to the instructions.
Also there in a SQL 2000 instance on that cluster that is working fine and showing up correctly.

Is SQL 2005 support in BE 10d cluster aware?

I have a similar problem, except I'm using VCS rather than MSCS, and I don't see the SQL selection under nodes or virtual servers.
I logged it with support, who said that it wasn't a supported configuration (despite it being documented in the Administrator's Guide). Now that 11d is out, the compatability list is much clearer, and shows that it is supported. When we get our 11d upgrade, if the problem hasn't been resolved I will re-log it with support.

If the 32 bit version of SQL 2005 is installed on an x64 system, and clustered, the icon will not be seen in Backup Exec for Windows Servers under the virtual server.
