SQL Restore - Redirection

SQL 2000
BEXEC 10 w/ SQL agents

Hi- I'm attempting to restore a few databases onto SQLSERVER2 from a backup tape that originally backed up SQLSERVER1. (same versions of Backup EXEC - V10)

**SQLSERVER1 has since been shutdown/rebuild as a new server.

When attempting to run a restore using the 'SQL Redirection' feature within BEXEC (ie: Restore the DBs to SQLSERVER2 as SQLSERVER doesn't exist anymore). I'm presented with the following error:
Final error: 0xe000fe29 - Authentication failed on connection to the server. Make sure that the user account has the appropriate permissions and that the password was typed correctly.

While setting up the restore job, I noticed within the 'Resource Credentials' option its attempting to connect to my old SQLSERVER1 to verify the credentials are tested successfully. .... as this server is offline, it fails.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Brett
