STORAGE CONFIGURE IN BACKUP EXEC 2012

Hello,

I have Buffalo TeraStation Pro [NAS] that connected to the network through Rj45 and i want to use it has a Storage on Backup Exec 2012.

Should used IP ADDRESS has path or what?

Yes,

You must use the UNC path to create a Disk Storage Device.

You must make sure you have read/write access on the target volume.

Preferably, better to make NAS part of the domain & then create a folder on the NAS with read/write rights...

add the NAS's folder as ip address/folder name as storage in BE...
