Just to confirm, is Window Server 2003 Standard Edition SP 2 compatible with BE 2014? I have some servers still running on that platform.

No. It is not supported. The minimum is Server 2003R2 see the SCL below http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH217478 *EDIT* You can still back up Server 2003 SP2, but you cannot install BE on it *END EDIT*

Win 2003 SP2 Standard Edition is supported only to install Remote Agent(Client) not as a Media Server.

Hi,

I will be using BE3600 appliance by intergrating Backup Exec 2014 software. The BE 2014 can backup and restore Win Server SP2 Standard? Can i said that Backup Exec 2014 is compatible with Win Server SP2 Standard?

Other than that,  Currently i am using BE 2012. Is BE2012 compatible with Window Server 2012 R2?

As I said previously, BE 2014 can backup Server 2003 SP2. BE 2012 SP4 can back up Server 2012 R2
