Service not starting

Windows 2003 server, running SQL server 2000. Backup Exec 10.0.5520. Plenty of disk space and RAM.

Backup Exec Server Service no longer starts. Stays at a 'Starting' status. Have tried upgrading to latest version, uninstalling BE and reinstalling. Still will not start. No error messages (other than that the service did not start).

Ideas?

After installing Backup Exec 10.0 for Windows Servers, the Backup Exec Server service fails to start, and Event ID 57802 is logged within the Event Viewer. Following this a warning is displayed while attempting to start the Backup Exec Server service .
