Sharepoint 2010 BUE 2010 R2 restore error.

So we can backup sharepoint 2010 with bue 2010 R2 without any errors but when we restore something in the demo environment we keep getting a logon account credential error. I have given this account every piece of rights i can think of in SQL but I continue to get this error. We also tried to redirect to a share and got the same error.

Yes, I've seen that tech note and had my sharepoint admins make sure there was nothing in the recycle bin.

My sharepoint admin seems to think that the reference still stays in the database for months... I would open a ticket but bue tech support has been so slow lately.
