we are using Version 10.0 Revision 5520, (all patches and Service Packs have been applied.) on a Windows 2000 Server, when backing up a remote (Windows 2003 Server) the job history comes up with the following error:-
Snapshot provider error (0xE0008538): The volume cannot be snapped using Advanced Open File Option (AOFO) because it is not a drive that is permanently attached to the target computer.
Please note we are doing disc to disc backup and none of the discs are removable.
