Some jobs slow

One job runs fine and backs up the data and the exchange server
I've created two new jobs, one just does data and the other just does email. These two jobs are running so slow the often fail.

Hardware is the same with all jobs
Settings seem to be the same with the different jobs

Why the problems?

I am at risk for loosing/pulling out all my hair.

I'm sorry I'm sure I will need to provide more detail but I don't know what to give you.

What kind of backup is the email job: Information Store or Mailbox Store ?
What files are backed up in the first job that runs fine and the second job that runs slow? Are they remote backups?
