Symantec BAckup Exec 12.5 Agent

I am having difficulies installing the Backup Exec agent 12.5 from a Windows 2003 Enterprise server to on a Windows 2008 server.  The following error message occured while entering the IP address or name of the machine: "The target machine is running an usupported Operating system"  Any idea?

Are you running the latest Service Pack of v12.5?

Is the Windows 2008 or 2008 R2?  R2 requires HOTFIX 331998 or SP3 (You should be on SP4 anyway)
