Symantec Backup Exec 2014 - Backup Exec Alert: Job Success Email Alert

Hello,

I am running Symantec Backup Exec 2014 and have disabled both Job Start and Job Success under: Configuration and Settings > Alerts and Notifications > Alert Categories. However there is still constantly being emails sent with subject lines like "Backup Exec Alert: Job Succes". -- I have attached a file to this post with a screenshot of the above two catefgories shown as disabled.

I am wondering if I am missing an extrea step required to disable these or if there is a known bug with his verison?

Any help or insight would be greatly appercaited.

You are probably receiving a job completion notification. This is configured on a per job basis. Check the Notification settings in the job definition.

Also check to make sure you have not configured something to monitor SNMP traps as your e-mails might be coming from an SNMP tool (if you have one) and not Backup Exec itself.
