Symantec backup Exec 2010

Our backup server has been replaced and a new LTO4 drive installed, we have been tasked with doing restores from our old tapes, I am now trying to catalog the tapes from our old system, which has been assigned to another site after a reinstall has been done, but keep getting the following error :

e0008105 - Invalid Physical Volume Library Media Identifier.

Catalog
Media mount failed.

Inventories run fine and show the tape label without any issues.

Your old tapes are of LTO2?

Earlier i had problem with LTO4 drive while cataloging a LTO2 tape.

If you have backup of Catalogs folder (from old BE media server), try using that instead of cataloging the tapes again.

No it was a DAT drive, and no we do not have the old catalog files, I have someone looking to see if they can locate these for me at the moemtn.
