Tape Device Drivers

Trying to install Symantec drivers on our HP tape library due to numerous errors.  I get the following message...  please advise

Installing Symantec "halfinch.sys" for "SCSI\SequentialHP______Ultrium_4-SCSI__W55W"
Driver load failure 0x800F020B for SCSI\SequentialHP______Ultrium_4-SCSI__W55W
The device instance does not exist in the hardware tree.

Can you see the device in Windows? 

Run HP library and tape tools diagnostics to troubleshoot the tape drive

I would suggest rebooting the server as it sounds like the hardware info might be stale.

Look for ghost tape drives in Windows Device Manager.
