Tape Device from Client Server

Hi Experts,

Just one simple question:

I want to use a Tape device that is connected to a client server (not a media server) to duplicate my Dedup Backups.

There is no other way than uninstall BE Agent, Install BE normal with Tape drivers?

p.s - there is no way to connect tape drive to Backup Server at the moment.

Unfortunately, this is not possible with a Windows Server. 

If the remote server is running a supported Linux flavor, you could purchase and install the RMALS - Remote Media Agent for Linux Servers
