Too long to backup

Last Friday I backed up 335GB of data across 3 servers which one was local, in 10 hours. This Friday it took 56 hours and still didn't finish the verify. Could it be a conflict with Symantec Security client on the servers? This is the only thing that has changed. I've configured the SAV server as required, and one of the servers didn't have it installed this Friday. Is there any clear documentation on configuring 10d and SAV so they work together. This is assuming the SAV is the problem.

Example of time it took.

Local: C\ 14GB :08 to 2:00 - D\ :54 to 3:30
Remote C\ :24 to 1:00 - D\ :37 to 6:00 and the winner - E\ 1:10 to 10:00

I have W2003 server, SCSI external - IBM Ultrium DLT 3 400/800 only a couple months old. Backup Exec 10d. SAV is the latest update.

What is AOFO?

I talked to Dell yesterday and we upgraded the firmware on the device. Last nights back up was at the good speed or at the speed it should be.

I will run it tonight and see what happens.

I went to the vender of the tape drive and updated the firmware. That seemed to do the trick. Who knows why it decided one day to not work correctly but all is back to normal.
