Unable to add device to device pool on Symantec Backup Exec 10d

Hi

I got this problem. After I installed in the Backup Exec for Windows server 10d(Quick Start Edition), I'm unable to add devices to device pool.


The error reads 'There are no other devices available to be added to this device pool at this time'


It had the latest device drivers 1.13.4.3 for the Quantum Tape drive.
NT backup is able to back up to the tape.
Symantec backup Exec has SP2 installed on it.

Anyone has an ideas?

As a preliminary step verify if the device is compatible with Backup exec.

I checked but my hardware is not on the any of the lists as it is a SATA type internal tape drive.
