Not applicable
Environment is a BE 9.1 running on Windows 2000.

I have configure one backup to connect the the F: drive of a server and receiving the following error:

Error Code: a0000848c
Unable to attach to one of the drives (which is drive F:)

a. The userid / password combination is valid because part of the backup job is the backup operations of C: & E: which are successful, as is System State

b. The drives are not off-line

c. The remote agent is correct since backups are being completed on the other logical drives.

d. This is not IDR / Echange / Netware / Oracle / or SQL

Hello,

We presume this is a remote server.

- What is the OS of this remote server?
- Does the user with which you are trying to connect have administrator rights on this remote server ( Irrespective that this is working for other drives)
- In which order are you backing up the resources?
- Is this a domain environment?
- Is there a firewall?
- Please enable the restrict anonymous support on the Media server as well as the remote server and verify the results. Refer the following technote.
Title:
How to enable support for "Restrict Anonymous" when using Backup Exec 8.6, 9.x, and 10.0 for Windows Servers
