Unable to delete the Message_Job

Has anyone found out the cause of this error?

I added some backup jobs, then my job queue froze, and now I can't do anything.  I restarted the server, deleted a job, freeze.  Restarted the server, all my jobs are gone except 1 that said the job was invalid, and this is the error I get when trying to delete it ...

I would submit a support case, but I refuse to pay maintenance for a lemon ...

Just installed SP2, so lets see what happens.

Used http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH67239 to delete the job - still remained after installing SP2.

Stop the SQL instance for the backup Exec and stop all backup exec services.

Go to the location "C:\program files\Symantec\Backup Exec\" and copy the Data folder and save it somewhere on a safer location.

Go to the location and open BEutility.exe "C:\program files\Symantec\Backup Exec\BEutility.exe"

Right click at the BE SQL instance name and select the option recover database and select the second option and proceed "Drop Existing Database and Reload from Backup."

Let me know if this works.
