Unable to recover Novell BE 8.5 files to BE 2010 on Win 2003

Unable to see file structure when creating a restore from tape on the Win 2003.  If I use the wizard I can see the backed up file structure, but cannot redirect the files to the windows server. Need to do this due to the final death of the Novell server.

Any thoughts?

Is the begining backed up data & ending backed up date filters set appropriately in the restore window ?

Has the tape been inventoried & cataloged ?

If yes & yes to the above, do you receive an error during the redirection restore ? Or does the restore complete successfully with no actual files ?

What Novell data are you restoring. Was this data backed up from a compressed volume.

Thanks guys for your responses.  Got me thinking, for what that is worth.  Problem turned out to be between the keyboard and my chair!  I was using a older tape for my testing, while thinking the data was a day old.  Changed the date range and all is well.  Thanks again.
