Unix agent on a linux box shows some subdirectories but not others

I have installed the Unix agent on a SUSE 9 server and I can see the Unix agent fine in my backup job.

However, under some of the directories I have included in the cfg file there is 'none' displayed to backup.

Under \root is see a heap of subdirectories and files to backup but under \home there is nothing.

I believe that root is on a RISER file system and home is EXT3

I was told by Veritas support that RISER was not supported and EXT3 was but this seems to be the opposite? Does anyone have any ideas why these sub directories won't show up.
