Upgrading to BE15

I am currently using BE 2010 R3 and would like to upgrade to BE15. 2010 scheduling is done with policies but not in BE15. What happens to all the scheduled backups after upgrading to 15?

Policies were removed in BE 2012 with much negative reception...and it was never put back for whatever reason.

You'd probably have to recreate all your jobs. However, BE16 is out and you might want to look at upgrading to that instead if you can.

Your jobs will be converted to the equivalent jobs in BE 15.  They are similiar to policies.

As previously advised, unless you have a good reason, you should upgrade to BE 16 FP1, rather than BE 15.  However, do check the BE 16 SCL to make sure that all your software are supported.
