User notification for DLO backups

Can anyone tell me if there is a way within DLO to notify the user that their backup was successful, failed or they missed it without the user having to actually open up the client? Maybe by email?

You cannot  configure alerts for individual users.

DLO SMTP alert notifications are not currently working.

Symantec has acknowledged the above issue is present in the current version of the products. Check the following technote for more informaiton:
