VMWare Virtual Agent Setting Archive Bit & Incremental Backups

Current setup, virtual machines running Windows 2k8 have the BK 2010 Widnows agent installed.  Backup Exec runs incremental & full backups of each server.  My company purchased the Agent for VMware Virtual Infrastructure, which now allows us to perform a full backup of the VM image directly from the hypervisor.

I was wondering if I used the Agent for VMware Virtual Infrastructure for full backups, would the incremental backups (using the BK agent installed under Windows) work the same?  Part of me is thinking no, that this agent for VMware will not set the archive bits like the full backups do that use the installed BK windows agent.

Comments very much welcomed.

If you look in the FAQ document you will see that the VI Agent supports incremental and differential backups.

So why don't you try it yourself since you have the proper licenses.
