I see that the error points to a logon failure, which should somehow be fixed I would think in SQL, but I need to know step by step how to take care of this, and cannot find any suggestions anywhere.

KBid=833167 only seems to refer to Systems Pre Service Pack 1. I recieved the hotfix from PSS and it refused to install saying that the Service Pack installed was after that point. I called them again and got thrown to per incident queue.

Built In windows backup was able to backup the entire machine with no errors. As I stated above this machine has SP1 so there is no hotfix available to me.

- Do you receive this error while backing up SQL databases?

- Run a system state backup with NTBackup and find out if these errors are reported again.
