Hi,

I have a windows 2003 DC 64 bit that I am trying to backup with Backup Exec 11D. It is a backup to disk.

The snapshot fails because of the error

Onthe server the event ID 12293 is reported from source VSS with the following information;

Volume Shadow Copy Service error: Error calling a routine on the Shadow Copy Provider {b5946137-7b9f-4925-af80-51abd60b20d5}. Routine details Cannot ask provider {b5946137-7b9f-4925-af80-51abd60b20d5} if volume is supported. [0x80070005] [hr = 0x80070005].

Can anyone help?

Did you ever figure this out?  I have a similar issue backing up my ISA Server and I am not even using AOFO.
