I will purchas an other backup tap drive.
Do I need to purchase an other licence for Backup Exec 10d, Server with Continuous Protection Server?

Hello,

It seems that you are purchasing another tape drive to use with Backup exec and CPS. What type of a tape drive is it? If it is a standalone drive, then you don't need any additional license as Backup exec provides support for unlimited standalone dirves.

However if it is a robotic library, then you will need to purchase the Library Expansion Option (LEO). Support for the 1st drive will be free. LEO is required for every additional drive. Refer to the following technote for more info on this:
