This is an FYI.
After updating with hotfix 15 my Exchange server backup went from 30 minutes to 2 hrs for the same backup job.
I found that post hotfix, when I installed the remote agent from the media server through the install procedure the install did not install the current versions.
On the remote agent server the versions in the RANT folder were still 5520.0. I removed the remote service, deleted the Veritas RANT folder and reinstalled from the media server. Again, I still had version 5520.0. I then stopped the remote agent service and manually copied the three files listed in the hotfix document from the media server to the remote agent server and rebooted. This early AM the Exchange server backup took 46 minutes versus 2 hrs. The Job rate is 197.00 MB/Min which is actually faster than the job rate of 196.00 MB/Min before the upgrade from 9.1.
