A special error por specislists.
Scenario:
BackupExec Server 12.5 SP2 x64 (All patchs) on Windows 2008 64bits SP1.
BackupExec Agent 12.5 x64 (All patchs).
Account used is Domain Admins rights.
When i try to backup the System State, i receive this error message:
\\server.domain\System?StateCheck status : Error: e0008442, The job failed with the following error: A memory allocation request failed. The computer may be running low on virtual memory.
This message was repeated using Backup-to-disk device.
The servers has a 8Gb of RAM memory and space required to run snapshots (VSS).
The resource credentials check show OK.
This servers only host Files and Folders, without special applications. If only backup files and folders was selected, backups complete without problems.
Using Windows 2008 Backup System, with same account, i can backup the SystemState without problem.
