What licenses do i require if i am backing up one physical server running on windows 2012? One tape library is involved in the process;

1 Backup Exec core license for the media server. (Remote Agent license for the Media server

is included in the core license)

1 Remote Agent for Windows license for every Remote server.

If your library has only 1 tape drive than you do not need any LEO license.

Note: LEO(Library Expansion Option)  is required for every additional tape drive in the library.

If you only have one physical server running Server 2012, then you cannot back this up because you cannot load BE 2012 onto Server 2012.  This is not supported.  You need another physical server running Server 2003 to 2008 R2 to load BE 2012.

The tape library must be connected to the server loaded with BE
