What to do if you loose the DLO data base.

Hi everybody. I'm new in DLO option and I'm making some pilots.

In a "normal" backup on tape, if you loose BEX data base, you can always catalog the tape and then restore what in there but, what happens if the server crash and you loose DLO data base but you still keeping the information in the storage, are you able to install BEX in another server and "catalog" the storage??

Well with 11d it fairly simple.  If you are using encryption with 11d all you need is the passphrase that was used to encrypt the data. This is the passphrase you set when you installed DLO.  You can change the passphrase if you want but you still need the one that was used when the data was encrypted.

If you are not using encryption, then all you have to do is point DLO to the storage location and it will pick up all the data.
