Write Protection Error

I have a dss-4 dell tape Drive with veritas 9.0 backup exec. I have just reloaded my server from a crash. The operating system is windows 2000 server with the newest service pack.

The drive worked all the time without any problem. All of the sudden after I write one succesfult backup I get a write protection error. I checked each tape and it says overwrittable infite and append infinite.

Each tape allows one backup but after that I can no longer backup to the tape.

Please help I have been running 2 weeks without a backup

overwrittable infite means never overwrite

Change the OPP of the media set(s) so that the tapes have expired before they are due to be reused

so what it the setting to be exactly???In the tep settings overwrtiabblt 1 hour 1 day 1 month never oerwrite I have it set to 1 hour???

If you reuse the same tape each day every week, use 6 days

If the saem day every other week, use 13 days, etc
