BE does not do image backups.  It backs servers up on a file level.

If you want to do image backups, then you should look at Symantec System Recovery (SSR) which has its own forum.

Hi,

Image or file-level data is stored for as long as you need it to be stored for...quite conceivably forever, but in 10 years time when BE 2010 is no longer supported, that new version of BE might not be able to restore the data. Hence you'd need BE 2010 in order to do the restore.

THanks!
