backup exec opteron windows 2003 64bit install problem

Hi,
Do I right understand that BE 11d can't be installed on Opeteron based server  with W2003 64 bit system?
I got installation error "This installation package is not supported by the 64bit processor type"
BE version 11.0.6235
This is awful situation.

Hi Alexey,
 
we have installed BE 11d on several Opteron based DL385 on W2K3 x64 without that problem. Did you pick the right version of the installer? There are seperate versions for x86 and x64.

I'm afraid I cannot help you with that. We started with a download eval version and then just bought the licenses. You can download both eval versions - 32 and 64 bit - in the Trialware section of Symantec.com.
