Get message "a communication error has occurred" when testing or running backup selections to the server that backup exec is intsalled on.
Works on remote agents to other servers fine. when you run tests it connects to c srive e drive etc but a failure appears next to the server name itself. Have tried changing users, adding users - the user is a domain admin. When you change user the test will work but as soon as you change selections or set a scheduled job then it loses connection again. Have installed all updates.
It is only on the local server? - looked at remote agent settings but can't see amything,
any ideas??
