Running BE 12.5 for Windows on a 2003 SP2 server. Have been successfully backing up netware 6.5 boxes, but on my oes linux (sles 10 sp2) I'm getting the dreaded communications failure error. If I disable the firewall on the linux agent, I get a backup, but when I restart the firewall, no dice. I checked to make sure port 10000 is open in the linux firewall and ran nmap to make sure the port is associated to BE agent. Also, the state of the windows firewall does not make any difference. Any ideas? Thanks.
