console is now in German!

Help! I don't know what happened but all of a sudden my BE console is in German. I cannot read any of the menus so I do not know how to get it back to English. Is there a registry setting or something I can use?

I checked my locale in the control panel like the article suggested and I found it already set to English US. I then went ahead and made the registry change and rebooted but I still get German.

What else can I try?
