Anyone able to verify that Backup Exec version 11d does NOT support eSATA nor FireWire 800?

Since BackupExec relies on windows for access, you should have no problems with B2D or B2D on removable media folders

The only FireWire device listed on the HCL is the Iomega Rev, and no mention is made of any eSATA devices at all. Several SATA devices are listed

I have a Lacie 1 TB "Big Disk Extreme" FireWire 800 drive and a Vantec eSATA drive case with a Maxtor 500 GB SATA drive installed on my BE 11d test server and they both work just fine.

The SATA controller is an Adaptec 1420SA and the FireWire 800 controller is a SIIG "FireWire 800 PCI-32T".
